One of the great things about the blockchain is its inherent scalability and speed. As you can imagine, there is only so much space in a single bitcoin address to hold any given amount of bitcoin. That said, the current block chain is designed only to handle thousands of transactions per second. So, if you’re just starting out, you can get a lot done just by adding a few transactions to the list you’re using.
How do you find bitcoin exchanges who will accept your bitcoin at an attractive rate?
The easiest way to go about finding bitcoin exchange rates is to look for the “daily price”. For example, $11.45 is the current price at Mt Gox and it goes up and down with market activity. You get a more detailed answer from the coinmarketcap.com page, which gives information about daily volume in bitcoin as well as daily volume per coin. You can access this page by using your web browser and then on the top right of that page, click “Coinmarketcap”.
Where and when can I find more information on the blockchain?
There are a number of blogs that will be of interest to a bitcoin beginner, such as the cryptocurrency blog bitcoininfluencer. For those who are already familiar with the blockchain, the bitcoinwiki.org is a useful resource. There are also several articles that I will be writing on the subject during my time working at Bitcoin Magazine, such as our upcoming article about the block chain and my piece about the blockchain and bitcoin privacy. These will be available on this website soon.
For those who are already interested in cryptocurrencies or cryptography, I would recommend the following sites:

PITTSBURGH — It took a full quarter of the season for the Pittsburgh Pirates to find their power stroke. They struggled with the bat, they struggled with the fastball and most of all, they struggled with their lineup.
And so much so that, last year, they traded Ben Zobrist to the Cleveland Indians, who have used him as a middle infielder on the left side.
