Vibrato is the sound of the lips moving as the singer produces a note. The sound of your voice can be described in terms of its frequency. The frequency of the sound of a human voice is usually between 80 and 120 Hz.
Vibration is produced by two things:
1. The amount of time it takes to move the lips in a straight line; this is called the duration.
2. The amount of force it takes to move the lips.
In the case of a simple voice, the time taken to move the lips will be the same whether you sing with full or half breath. When the lips move more rapidly, or less steadily, or when you are “stiffened,” the duration will increase. That is because the more force you use to move the lips, the more the pitch will change from the original pitch.
A note that is produced quickly will be more clear or clearer by the use of vibrato.
It is also possible for the time taken to move the lips to be smaller. While that may sound like it won’t make much difference to the pitch, you can hear that the timbre will change in the beginning of the note. When the vocal cords are stretched more, the sound of the note will become louder, or shall we call it “more distorted.” In fact, if you hold an acoustic guitar to your mouth, you will hear a similar change as a singer or a musician does when using vibrato.
You may also notice that it is also possible for the duration of the vowel sound to be smaller as well. This is because the mouth and tongue are connected together and act as a sort of conveyer belt. As the tongue is lifted back and forth in a slow motion, the sound of the vowel goes out through the throat and into the vocal cords. When you hold your hand out, you can also get very different sounds out of the system. When the vibrato sounds a little lighter, that is because the vibrato is allowing more vibration to the vocal cords to produce sound.
Vibrato is not the only variation in the way a note sounds. There are many other kinds of voice characteristics that vary in the way they vibrate or reflect the note. These are called tonal characteristic, which are also called voicing characteristics.
A voice is produced by the articulation of certain vibrational qualities of the voice. These vibrational qualities can be defined as the tones that are produced when
