What dogs are suitable for full time workers?

All domesticated dogs meet at least one of these requirements:

Can move independently without supervision

Be capable of following simple commands in any environment or situation

Have a sense of smell

Wish to be allowed to socialize with and to interact with people

Can communicate and understand simple human commands such as sit, down and stay.

Will my dog be able to find his own way if a dog is in need of shelter?

It is very important that all dogs are well adjusted to each other in their environment before giving them up for adoption unless the need for shelter is very large. Also it is extremely important that a dog not be fearful or aggressive towards people.

Will my dog live a life of good health?

All dogs are capable of living a long life but some do have a higher risk of death after death. In order for a dog to be used as a full time worker, the dog must be physically and mentally capable of working 12 hours per day for 12 hours per day for a full time period.

Can my dog be a full-time worker in the UK?

Any dog that can be registered to work as a guide dog and who is not more than three years of age and who is not disabled in any way is considered suitable for a full time job.

Can I apply for a dog of my choice to be a full time worker?

If you are able to meet all the above conditions, then you have successfully applied to have your pet work full time. All dogs must be registered and vaccinated but it is very important that they meet the following requirements:

Hospital and veterinary records indicating they are properly cared for at all times and have never been in trouble

Hospital and veterinary records indicating they are not aggressive, destructive, aggressive or destructive towards people or other animals

Dog vaccinations, bloodwork for a blood allergy test and a full health check of the dog to make sure it is able to work and socialise without pain relief provided during the working time

Dog walking and obedience training certifications and a full health
